I used to have a kitchen scale, useful for weighing letters in order to calculate postage, now I am just geussing. I can't tell you how beautiful autumn is here, or how daunting graduate school applications are, let alone how lovely it feels to recieve that most special kiss on the crown of my forehead whenever he and I part ways (even if I know it is void). I can however attest to the power of the well written word, jersey knit sheets, a bike ride in the crisp cool air, sharing breakfeast with "This American Life" and making a mess in my apartment.
